Vitay
Porcelain
The Vitay collection evokes sophisticated dark marbles—such as Pietra di Savoia or Sahara grey marble—with striking white veins against backgrounds ranging from pearly white to the deepest anthracite. A collection that exudes presence and elegance, ideal for premium projects.
Available in four colours —Pearl, Bone, Grey and Anthracite— allowing you to work with a full range of shades, from the lightest to the darkest and most dramatic. Available in 60×60 and 60×120 cm sizes, Vitay creates striking designs across large surfaces.
The choice for high-end architectural and interior design projects: hotels, corporate spaces, luxury bathrooms and living rooms where rectified porcelain tiles must hold their own aesthetically against the finest natural marbles.
Frequently asked questions
The Vitay collection is available in two sizes: 60x60 cm and 60x120 cm, with a rectified matt finish. The 60x120 cm size is particularly recommended for premium projects where the veining of the dark marble needs to be shown off to its best advantage.
The Vitay collection is not available in a anti-slip version. It has a Class 1 slip resistance rating, making it particularly suitable for wall cladding, living rooms and reception areas where visual impact is key.
Vitay has a Mohs hardness of 8, which is significantly higher than that of the dark natural marble it replicates (Mohs 3–4). It is far more resistant to scratches and wear than real marble, retaining its sophisticated appearance over time.
Unlike natural dark marble, which requires regular sealing and specialised products, Vitay can be cleaned with water and a mild detergent. It has a GA rating for resistance to household chemicals. It requires no special treatment, making it the perfect alternative to marble for high-demand projects.
Yes. Vitay has a Class 5 stain resistance rating — the highest possible. Natural dark marble is particularly susceptible to limescale and acid stains; Vitay does not have this problem.
Vitay passes the frost resistance tests. However, as it is not available in a non-slip version (Class 1), its outdoor use should be restricted to covered areas not directly exposed to water or rain.
